LogiNext Haul helps companies manage their fleets by optimizing their intercity routes and alerting the manager regularly about all activities undertaken by the driver through real-time tracking. LogiNext uses its exhaustive database of over a billion geocoded data points (unique latitude and longitude identifiers) to give accurate tracking updates for all hub managers involved along the driver’s routes.
LogiNext Haul is entirely hardware-agnostic, cloud-based platform which can be used to optimize routes not just for the road but also for the rail and air movements. It can connect to standard GPS trackers, miniature wireless sensors, and rail/air cargo APIs, and offers analytics to tap into location data.
- Schedule Planning
Plan schedules for all shipments considering multiple parameters such as Vehicle Type, Vehicle Capacity, Driver Skill Sets, Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETA) at different hubs, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Loading and Unloading time, etc.
- Capacity Optimization
Optimize capacity of each vehicle as per the packages of Sales Keeping Units (SKUs) in terms of weight and volume. Maximize the fuel efficiency of each vehicle by increasing vehicle utilization across routes.
- Route Planning and Optimization
Plan and optimize routes between hubs to decrease in-transit time and detention due to local traffic and weather considerations. Decreased transit time reduces fuel consumption, increases SLA compliance, and total turnaround time for the vehicles.
- Live Tracking and Updates
Track the vehicles in real-time while receiving regular and timely updates about all events. These events can be when the truck passes a pre-recognized checkpoint (geocoded area), when the driver is detained, when the truck is nearing a hub, when any SLA is violated in terms of speeding or night-time driving, etc.
- Accurate ETAs
Follow accurate ETAs as the vehicle leaves the originating hub and moves through the intermediate hubs towards the destination. ETAs are updated after each hub-visit, where the following stopping points would get automated updates about the revised ETAs.
- Detention and Hub-Load Management
Track all instances of detention and delays in real-time with accurate ETA revisions. Manage the hub-load with complete visibility of all incoming shipments and the exact time when it would arrive. Use scanning machines integrated directly with LogiNext Haul to immediately record each merchandise unit and reduce overall detention time at each hub.
- Driver Behavior Analysis
Track driver behavior by tracking deviations from planned routes, speeding, night-time driving, harsh breaking, temperature variations (cold-chain logistics), and excessive breaks.
